“I wrote the song for my aunt, who is a person that has gone through a lot of difficult times in her life. Still, she is one of the most positive people I know and she often tells me to find happiness in the little things because every cloud has a silver lining. There is a saying in Swedish that goes “efter regn kommer solsken” which has a similar meaning to the proverb “every cloud has a silver lining”. In Sweden you usually say it to tell someone to stay positive even when times are hard and my aunt often says the Swedish phrase, which is where I first got the idea of the song.” – Olai
