One of Portland’s most beloved summer music festivals is making its grand return: Project Pabst is back and louder than ever, hitting Waterfront Park for two packed days of music, beer, and unapologetic fun.
Set for Saturday and Sunday, July 26-27, 2025, this 21+ event is a full-scale, outdoor, two-stage blowout along the river, nestled between the Morrison Bridge and Salmon Springs Fountain. Known for curating a blend of indie, punk, rock, and alternative legends, Project Pabst 2025 doesn’t disappoint.
Saturday brings punk energy and nostalgia with headliners Iggy Pop and DEVO, followed by sets from The Damned, The Chats, Mannequin Pussy, The Exploding Hearts, Gustaf, Gouge Away, and Nasalrod.
Sunday shifts gears into indie-rock territory with Death Cab For Cutie and Japanese Breakfast leading the charge. Other highlights include Built to Spill, Cap’n Jazz, Wednesday, Say She She, Sam Austins, and Dustbunny.
Expect: Two stages with back-to-back sets and no overlaps, just music; Portland food carts, local beer, and merch from both the festival and artists; No re-entry – once you’re in, you’re in. Plan accordingly; No minors allowed, Project Pabst is strict a 21+ event; ADA-accessible platforms with ramps and ASL interpreters will be available at both stages.
Free refillable water stations will be available throughout the venue, and medical tents staffed by EMS professionals will be open during all festival hours. The event will go on rain or shine – dress for anything the Pacific Northwest throws your way.
