On June 11th, 2025- Less Than Jake performed at The Ritz on their Summer Circus Tour with special guests: Bite Me Bambi, The Suicide Machines, and Fishbone. The Ritz was packed once again for a night of nonstop, genre-bending, and ska-soaked energy. This was one of those rare shows that hit all the nostalgic buttons, but still felt fresh. No matter what generation you were born in, there was a beat, a voice, or a vibe here that found its way straight into your heart.

Bite Me Bambi kicked off the night, and let me tell you this band is astounding. The moment they hit the stage, the crowd was locked in, vibing hard with every upbeat groove. The lead singer had the whole room wrapped around her finger, magnetic, powerful, and full of charm. Their set was pure fun with a touch of sincere beauty that stayed with you

Next up ,The Suicide Machines! Old school meets new school punk chaos. This band brought raw energy with that classic thrash, ska, and punk blend that made you want to dust off your skateboard and relive your teenage rebellion. No fluff, just fire. These guys haven’t lost a single step

Then came Fishbone and this was the highlight of my night. Watching this legendary all-Black band tear up the stage with that signature Afro-punk, funk, and rock fusion was something special. They didn’t just play music , They moved with it, danced with it, and lived it right there in front of us. Their rhythm was tight, their energy unmatched, and their stage presence? Effortless. Passion like that doesn’t fade. It evolves.

And finally, the Headliners , Less Than Jake. Legends for a reason. The horns, the humor, and crowd interaction. Everything about their set was electric. Every member was having a blast onstage, and it was contagious. They didn’t just play to the crowd. They pulled us in and made us feel like part of the band. Also, not gonna lie, they were some of the most photogenic dudes I’ve shot in a while. Pure charisma. In the end, it wasn’t just a show. It was a celebration. Of punk, of funk, of connection. Of being loud, weird, free, and together.
