A Vans Warped Tour Moment to Remember; Glasswaves Leaves It All Onstage

On June 15th, 2025- Glasswaves from Rochester, New York took over the main stage at Vans Warped Tour and I’ve never met a band so deserving of this opportunity. Glasswaves has been a band for about two years now and I remember telling them last year; “You guys are going to be huge in 2025. Just you wait” and we all spoke it into existence. Being Glasswaves media person for the last year truly made me realize that there are still musicians out there that creates music for listeners to resonate to and actually cares about the people they meet on this journey. Glasswaves won the Battle of the bands through Ernie Ball and when they announced that they won; we were not shocked at all. We knew they were going to win a spot because of how talented and dedicated they are as musicians. And when Noah (Vocals) texted me to come out and capture this moment; I couldn’t say no.

The second the guys walked onto that stage; I felt all the energy shift from each musician from being nervous to pure confidence. You can hear the crowd screaming for them. You could FEEL the excitement and anticipation from everyone. It was a feeling that you can’t even express into words. It took me a second to compose myself because the tears automatically started to stream down my face. Seeing my friends on this massive stage at an event that we all grew up going to as teenagers made me so emotional. The amount of people that traveled hours to just come experience their set is something I hope all bands experience on their journey in this industry. That’s how you know Glasswaves made such an impact on people’s lives through their music and how charismatic each one of them are.

Glasswaves delivered such an emotional performance that allowed them to stand out compared to other bands at Vans Warped Tour. The set rippled with explosive guitar riffs, cathartic vocals, vibrating bass that sent low-end tremors throughout your body, and bone-rattling drums that created a memorable soundscape for everyone watching the set. This is an opportunity that no one will forget and at the end of the day; Glasswaves truly honed in their skills as musicians and caused such a soul-stirring performance that I knew left attendees speechless.
