On June 20, 2025- Audrey Hobert released her newest single “Bowling alley” that expresses self doubt as well as feeling like you are only noticed when you do something creative that captures the attention of others. “Bowling alley” has a catchy tone to it filled with humor, but also holds a deeper meaning behind it. This single helps listeners understand that even though you feel invisible there is always that possible chance that one day you will be noticed. And that’s when people act like they knew you from the beginning. “Bowling alley” is about vulnerability and allowing yourself to express these emotions through humor and that’s what Hobert accomplished with this single.

“‘Bowling alley’ is about thinking nobody wants you to go to their party even though you were cordially invited (self-involved feeling), and also about people who you’ve known for years only acknowledging you when you do something exciting artistically and in the public eye,” says Audrey. “I’ve experienced both things, and I thought, ‘Heck, put it to music girl.’ ‘Bowling alley’ is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written. If Audrey Hobert were a song, it would probably be this one.” – Audrey Hobert
