One of the biggest must festivals in the world is back and bolder than ever. Lollapalooza returns to Chicago’s Grant Park from July 31 to August 3, 2025, with a stacked and genre-spanning lineup headlined by some of the biggest names in music today – Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler, The Creator, Sabrina Carpenter, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Luke Combs, TWICE, A$AP Rocky, Korn, Gracie Abrams and Doechii.
The official lineup announcement, revealed this past March, racked up over 25,000 likes in the first ten minutes – a testament to the festival’s global pull and passionate fan base. With over 170 artists set to perform across eight stages, this year’s event promises to be one of the most memorable yet.
Among the biggest headlines:
Olivia Rodrigo makes her Lollapalooza debut, fresh off her record-breaking GUTS world tour.
Sabrina Carpenter, who stunned fans during her 2023 debut set, returns to the Lolla stage – this time as a headliner – following the success of her Grammy-winning album Short n’ Sweet.
Twice will make history as the first female K-pop group to headline Lollapalooza, ushering in a new era of genre diversity on the main stage.
Luke Combs becomes the first-ever country artist to close out the festival, a bold booking that expands the festival’s reach beyond its alternative and pop-rock roots.
Korn, who last played Lollapalooza in 1997, are making their long-awaited return to the festival.
Other fan-favorite acts on the bill include Clairo, Djo, Bleachers, Cage The Elephant, Dominic Fike, Foster the People, T-Pain, FINNEAS, The Marías, Wallows, Role Model, and Sierra Ferrell, ensuring there’s something for everyone – from indie and hip-hop to EDM, rock, and experimental pop.
Pre-sale for four day passes opened on Thursday, March 20, for one hour only on https://www.lollapalooza.com/, and general on-sale followed shortly after. Currently, all 1-day admission tickets and all 4-day admission tickets are on waitlist, promising a packed house for all four days of the spectacle.
With attendance regularly nearing half a million people, Lollapalooza is a cornerstone of Chicago’s summer music scene. After a five-year low in festival-related arrests last year, organizers are continuing to prioritize safety with the return of hydration stations, medical tents, and Narcan distribution in partnership with nonprofits like This Must Be The Place.
Last year, even with massive names like SZA and Blink-182 on the bill, the biggest buzz came from Chappell Roan, whose “Pink Pony Club” daytime set reportedly drew the largest crowd ever for a non-headlining artist. Can anyone top that in 2025? All eyes will be on this year’s newcomers and returning legends to find out.
With its genre-bending lineup, massive headliners, and historic milestones, Lollapalooza 2025 is shaping up to be the most inclusive and wide-reaching edition yet. Whether you’re here for pop royalty, genre trailblazers, or underground buzz bands, Lolla promises four days of unforgettable music and community.
