Ten years in the making and heavy as ever, $UICIDEBOY$ and Bones have finally collided again with their new track, “Now And At The Hour Of Our Death,” a brooding, slow-burn collision of ghosted vocals and blown-out basslines. It’s their first team up since 2014’s “Maple Syrup,” and it not only meets the hype, it swallows it and keeps banging.
The single marks the second release off $uicideboy$’ upcoming fifth full length studio album, Thy Kingdom Come, due out August 1. If the name sounds final, that’s because it is. This record isn’t playing coy. It’s confession, decay, and defiance in under three minutes, the soundtrack to a crumbling empire with trap snares and lo-fi hauntology on loop.
The lyric video dropped alongside the single, with a full video due out next month. Fans can stream the track or pre-save the album now.
Built from the ashes of underground Soundcloud success and mainstream indifference, $UICIDEBOY$ have carved out a kingdom on their own terms. With over 20 billion career streams and a fiercely loyal fanbase, they’ve become titans of indie rap without a drop of compromise. Last year’s New World Depression charted globally and dominated playlists, with Thy Kingdom Come promising even more, including guest features for the first time on a studio album.
Lead single Self-Inflicted has already notched 10 million streams, and now, Now And At The Hour Of Our Death deepens the narrative with death, rebirth, and self rule in a genre that often eats its young.
Thy Kingdom Come drops August 1 via G59 Records.
