Lauren Spencer Smith is a Canadian singer-songwriter who was born in Portsmouth, England, United Kingdom, but raised in Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. She is only 21 years old, but sharing her raw talent to the world at 16 years old has been extremely inspiring to many.

Lauren appeared on the television show “American Idol” in season 18, showcasing her powerhouse vocals every chance she got. She made it to the top 19 contestants, but eventually got voted off. She wasn’t letting that get in the way of her dreams of becoming a big music sensation.

She started to release her music to the public in 2020 with her debut EP Mixed Emotions. After multiple singles, she released her biggest songs to this day, “Fingers Crossed” and “Flowers,” both featured on her first full-length album, Mirror, released in 2023.

Ever since then, her name and voice has been everywhere, surpassing 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

On June 27, 2025, Lauren Spencer Smith released her second full-length album, The Art Of Being A Mess. This album has songs which shows how many emotions can go into one album: some anger, sadness, confusion and happiness.

Lauren will be going on a world tour starting this year and into next year around Europe, the United Kingdom, and North America.
