As summer heats up in the Pacific Northwest, so does excitement for the return of Project Pabst, Portland’s beloved music festival celebrating all things loud, local, and Pabst Blue Ribbon. Slated for July 26 to July 27 at Waterfront Park, this year’s edition is stacked with legendary acts like Iggy Pop, DEVO, Death Cab For Cutie, and Japanese Breakfast – but there’s much more to this weekend than just the music.
Here’s your guide to getting the most out of your Project Pabst 2025 experience, from insider tips to exclusive vendor offerings.
1. Plan Your Weekend in Advance
With two full days of music spanning punk, indie, experimental, and power pop genres, it’s smart to take a look at the daily lineup beforehand. Saturday will spotlight punk and alternative energy with Iggy Pop, Devo, and Mannequin Pussy, while Sunday leans into indie rock and dream pop with Death Cab for Cutie, Japanese Breakfast, and Wednesday.
2. Get Your Tickets Early
Presale began February 25, with general on-sale tickets starting February 28 at 10 a.m. PT. Early Bird pricing includes $85 Single Day tickets and $150 Weekend passes, while general admission rises slightly to $95 for a single day and $175 for the full weekend. As always, Project Pabst is a 21+ event, so bring valid ID.
3. Explore Local Vendors and Art
Project Pabst prides itself on showcasing not only music but also the creative culture of Portland. The 2025 edition will again feature immersive art installations and a curated collection of local vendors. Expect to find authentic food, beverages, and unique merchandise that reflect the city’s eclectic spirit. While specific vendor names haven’t been announced yet, the festival’s past events have consistently celebrated local artisans and culinary talent.
4. Arrive Early for Hidden Gems
Don’t just come for the headliners—the undercard is stacked with emerging and cult-favorite acts. Arriving early ensures you catch artists like Nasalrod, Dustbunny, Gustaf, and Say She She, who all promise to deliver standout performances.
