About Brandy:
Brandy has been a major music industry force since the ’90s. She’s a GRAMMY-winning artist, actress, and producer who has been called “The Vocal Bible” for years. Her first big hit, “I Wanna Be Down,” was just the beginning of a legendary R&B career. The iconic song, “The Boy Is Mine,” with Monica became such a huge moment and stayed at No. 1 for 13 weeks. Brandy also made history as the first Black Cinderella in Disney’s 1997 version and returned to the role in 2024’s “Descendants: The Rise of Red.” A full two decades after their original hit, Brandy and Monica joined Ariana Grande for a fresh take on “The Boy Is Mine” and picked up another GRAMMY nomination in the process. Brandy has done everything from music to TV to Broadway and continues to keep pushing forward.
About Monica:
Monica has been a staple in R&B music since the ’90s. She is a GRAMMY award winner with over 30 million records sold. She got her start young and quickly earned back-to-back No. 1s. Her duet with Brandy, “The Boy Is Mine,” became one of the most iconic songs of the era and was at the No. 1 spot for 13 weeks. Monica launched her independent label, MonDeenise Music, in 2019 with the chart-topping single “Commitment.” Her debut album on the label, MDA, will be released in 2026. That same year, she will also head into a new chapter with a country album titled, Open Roads, produced by Brandi Carlile. And in 2024, she reunited with Brandy on Ariana Grande’s remix of that same iconic song, “The Boy Is Mine,” which earned them another GRAMMY nomination.
