The Lumineers share “Automatic (Deluxe Edition)” featuring five bonus tracks

On June 27, The Lumineers released their Automatic (Deluxe Edition) album, featuring five bonus tracks, including acoustic renditions and a cover of Leon Russell’s “A Song For You.

Founded in 2005 by Wesley Schultz (lead vocals and guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion, and piano), with over 1.5 million albums sold in the U.S. and 22 million monthly listeners on Spotify, this duo has emerged as one of today’s most successful and influential acts. Their unique blend of alternative rock and Americana, combined with heartfelt storytelling, makes them a must-see live performance. During their 2022 “BRIGHTSIDE World Tour,” they sold over 1.1 million tickets. This sound appealed to multiple generations, including my Nana – who died in 2017 – who loved it when I played them on my car radio for her.

The duo has achieved 24 No. 1 hits across various radio formats and multiple Billboard and GRAMMY nominations, and they are just getting started. Beginning on July 3, they will celebrate their “Automatic World Tour.”

The highly anticipated North American leg of their world tour continues to captivate audiences while establishing a legacy of creativity, advocacy, and impact. The Lumineers are committed to promoting social change through environmental sustainability and supporting important causes such as human rights, mental health, music education, and hunger relief. Additionally, they raised vital funds for live music and service industry workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic through their Colorado Gives Back campaign.

“This is the duo at their most raw, vulnerable, and emotionally connected”

– PEOPLE

“Automatic, the new album by the Lumineers, plunges into the torments of a breakup: regrets, recriminations, self-doubt, shattered assumptions, lingering need.”

Dedication

This article was dedicated to my Nana, who I loved very much. She was a lovely soul who sadly passed away in 2017. RIP Nana, I miss you every time I play The Lumineers.
