SQUID PISSER announce U.S. tour with King Parrot and Bonginator, plus Gathering of the Juggalos stop and new music tease

Los Angeles avant-grind maniacs SQUID PISSER are gearing for a full-throttle U.S. takeover this August. The slime-soaked noise collective will be hitting the road for a month-long tour, including support dates with Australian thrash legends King Parrot and the crushing force of Bonginator. The chaos kicks off August 4 in Oklahoma City and barrels through 26 cities, culminating in a homecoming performance set at Los Angeles’ Teregram Ballroom on August 29 alongside garage-pysch icons O Sees.

Among the highlights of the trek? A slot at “Gathering of the Juggalos” on August 15, bring SQUID PISSER’s off-kilter energy into the orbit of Insane Clown Posse’s twisted carnival – and new music on the horizon.

“We never really stopped after touring with GWAR,” says frontman Tommy Meehan. “We’re wrapping new recordings with Toshi Kasai [Melvins, Big Business] right now, and it’s some of the nastiest stuff we’ve done.”

The upcoming tour follows the release of their 2024 album Dreams of Puke, a disorienting maelstrom of noise-rock, mathcore, sludge, and grind that’s as cerebral as it is stomach-turning. The album, released via SKiN GRAFT and Sweatband Records, earned underground praise for its deranged sonic palette and grotesque viral aesthetic, courtesy of Gregory Jacobsen.

SQUID PISSER’s live shows have become their own form of controlled bedlam – flashing lights, unhinged crowd invasions, and a frontman who routinely breaks the barrier between stage and the pit. With past tours alongside acts like GWAR and Melt-Banana, they’ve become known for turning venues into sweaty, mind-warping rituals.

Formed in 2020 by Meehan – also of Cancer Christ and Deaf Club – and drummer Seth Carolina (Starcrawler), the band has grown to include Michael Armendariz, Raz Azraai, and Corey Walford, expanding their noise arsenal and live intensity.

With two full lengths – My Tadpole Legion and Dreams of Puke – plus a comic-book EP, Vaporize a Neighbor, the group is building a legacy of grotesque innovation and absurdist hardcore.

If you’re into breakneck speed, mutated noise, and watching a frontman scream inches from your face in a fuzzy coat, mark your calendars.
