Tors releases newest single “Misplaced”

On July 11, 2025, Tors released their newest single “Misplaced” from their upcoming EP Songs From The Road Vol. 1 that will be out on July 25 via Glassnote Records. “Misplaced” is one of those singles that truly expresses what happens when you love someone so dearly and it becomes one sided eventually. Breakups are unpredictable at times, sometimes leaving one person more devastated than the other. The love they have still lingers in the air while the other person moves on. The soft vocals with the acoustic instrumentation enhance the beauty of understanding that you need to take that love and allow it to become part of you and the healing phase of your life. Loving someone that is not yours anymore doesn’t mean the love should automatically disappear, it just shows you that you are human and love stays with a person to teach them about themselves.

Tors explains, “Misplaced is a song about what happens with the love you still feel for someone when they’ve gone; oftentimes breakups are one-sided affairs and you can be left with the intense feelings you felt for someone and nowhere to exorcise them. After a while the light of that love dims but it never truly burns out and every now and then it surfaces in different ways as you process your feelings. Misplaced is our attempt at exploring that dormant love and what it does to you.”

The track sets the tone for Songs From the Road Vol. 1, a six-song collection steeped in movement, memory, and emotional honesty. Crafted entirely by the band amid their relentless touring schedule, the EP distills the highs and heartbreaks of life on the road with raw vulnerability and striking sonic clarity.

“Songs from the Road, Vol. 1 is a collection of songs we’ve written over the last three years of relentless touring. We’ve been travelling and playing music around the world more than we’ve been at home recently and all the beautiful, strange and sometimes terrifying places we’ve been have inspired a whole catalogue of songs. This is our first collation of a few of those, hastily written and recorded on tour buses, in dressing rooms and onstage during sound check. These songs are a taste of our ever-changing headspace on the road. With themes of homesickness, love found and lost, and endlessly questioning the way we live, we hope they give you a little insight into what it means to be a touring band fighting to make ends meet and enjoying ourselves doing it.” Tors
