After years of raising glasses and decibels at Summit, the Mile High’s most punishing party is trading cramped chaos for full blown sonic war. This December, Metal & Beer Fest: Denver is stepping into the hallowed walls of the Fillmore Auditorium for its 2025 edition, and it’s bringing legends, locals, and lagers with it.
Two acts have already been tapped to headline what promises to be a seismic weekend. Sludge doom cult heroes Acid Bath, back from the dead and as corrosive as ever, will take the Saturday night slot. For longtime fans, it’s nothing short of historic, this marks their first Denver show in three decades. Expect bone grinding riffs, nihilistic poetry, and the kind of set that leaves a scar.
Meanwhile, Blood Incantation will kick off the weekend with a rare hometown set. The Denver-born death metal voyagers haven’t played on local soil in over two years, and they’re known for turning venues into riots. Their Friday headlining slot is bound to be a cosmic pummeling of the highest order.
But that’s just the beginning. The full lineup of bands and brewers is still under wraps, but with a bigger venue comes a bigger promise: more music, more beer, more mayhem. Fans can also expect a special pre party at Ratio Beerworks to get the taps flowing a day early.
For the diehards who don’t miss a pour or a power chord, multi-day passes will unlock the full experience, early entry, bonus sets, and bragging rights that last until your ears stop ringing sometime next year.
Whether you’re here for the brew, the brutality, or both, this year’s fest is shaping up to be the loudest love letter to metal culture Denver has ever seen. See you in the pit, beer in hand, horns up.
