Michigan metalcore veterans We Came As Romans have officially announced their new album, ALL IS BEAUTIFUL…BECAUSE WE’RE DOOMED, set for release on August 22 via Sharptone Records. Alongside the announcement, the band unveiled their third single, “culture wound,” a powerful track that continues the introspective themes introduced in earlier singles “bad luck” and “no rest for the dreamer.”
“culture wound” explores the duality of human nature, asking whether we are driven by selflessness or survival. It pairs WCAR’s signature blend of punishing riffs and soaring melodies with a deeply personal message about confronting the sides of ourselves we often ignore.
ALL IS BEAUTIFUL…BECAUSE WE’RE DOOMED represents a new chapter for We Came As Romans—one built from loss, self-discovery, and the search for meaning. Structurally designed to loop from end to beginning, the record reflects the ongoing cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
