Alessi Rose, rising pop star, releases her highly anticipated EP, Voyeur, alongside her new single, “Dumb Girl.” After gaining traction on social media over the past two years, fans have been eagerly awaiting more music from Alessi. The new EP, Voyeur, features eight tracks that explore themes of love, lust, and longing. At only 22 years old, Alessi’s introspective writing style produces raw lyrics and catchy melodies that reflect her journey of self-discovery.
“On Voyeur, the voyeurism is twofold,” says Alessi of the EP’s guiding concept. “The audience becomes a voyeur of my innermost thoughts and feelings through the music, but additionally, I am a voyeur of myself and my own sometimes self-sabotaging decisions. I wanted this EP to feel like the unfiltered version of events that you tell your closest friends, and I feel like the bluntness and stream-of-consciousness lyrics reflect that. I don’t care how I’m perceived because I trust the listener.”
Born and raised in Derby, England, Alessi gained a passion for poetry at the young age of 13. Influenced by artists such as Lorde and Kate Bush, she began writing songs and taught herself music production while saving up for college. Shortly after, Alessi made her official debut in the summer of 2023, captivating audiences worldwide with the self-written and produced hit, “say ur mine.” The catchy song surpassed 40,000 views in less than a week, showcasing her talent and resonating with listeners everywhere.
She has gained attention from major record labels such as Warner Chappell Music, Polydar Records, and Capital Records over the past few years. Voyeur was created with influential producers such as Sam De Jong (Gracie Abrams, Lennon Stella), John Hill (Cage the Elephant, Carly Rae Jepsen), Sammy Witte (SZA, Halsey), and Couros (Dora Jar, Saya Gray). Voyeur offers a vivid and catchy look at Alessi’s complex thoughts and clear vision.
Alessi has had an incredible year, beginning with her debut at Glastonbury and continuing with performances at large stadiums in support of Dua Lipa’s “Radical Optimism Tour.” She embarks on her headlining “Voyeur” tour across Europe starting September 1. This fall, Alessi will also open for Tate McRae on her “Miss Possessive Tour,” further increasing her recognition across North America.
