CMAGIC5, a singer-songwriter from Toronto, Ontario, is only 18 years young and already pouring her heart and soul into her pop-rock career. Releasing music left and right, she’s always releasing the best of her sound.

Performing in musical theater and vocal competitions when she was only 4 years old, she wrote her first song by the age of 6. By the time she was 10, she had already composed her own songs. This career path was all she ever wanted to do, and she made it happen.

C had just released her fifth single of 2025, “Like A Dream,” on July 30, 2025, which was created and specially crafted with Juno award-winning producers/songwriters, along with fresh singles released monthly.

“Like A Dream” is the ultimate pop daydream which showcases the lighter, radio-ready side of CMAGIC5’s upcoming EP. This is summer’s new chill anthem, which blends sultry with a hit of refreshing soca-infused groove that you just can’t help but dance to. Lyrics that flirt between reckless romance and fleeting reality, the song truly captures the electric spark of a perfect stranger’s gaze — the intoxicating moment when they feel that fantasy feels too real to be true.

If you’re the type of person who dances barefoot on the beach, drives along a long empty road with your windows down, or finds yourself caught in a surreal connection you can’t explain, “Like A Dream” is the perfect soundtrack.

“Like A Dream” was created out of a real-life almost love story that had unfolded during C’s birthday vacation in Mexico. She kept locking eyes with the same cute guy everywhere she went- at the resort, the pool, the restaurant, and even the Zumba class she went to. They never spoke, but the tension and glances felt like electricity, as if it were a movie. On her last day, they ended up leaving at the same time, crossing paths again in the airport, but still nothing happened. She sat on the plane wondering, “Did that really happen? Or was it all just a dream?” The feeling of surreal and missed possibility. The feeling of wanting something real with someone you barely know. It’s about the thrill of the moment that never quite becomes a reality, but will still leave a mark on your heart.

Although C hasn’t had any JUNO award nominations yet, doesn’t mean she won’t in the future! Working with JUNO award-winning producers and songwriters, her moment will come one day!
