DROWNING POOL returns to Europe, and they brought the chaos with them

After nearly a decade away, Drowning Pool is rising from the depths and storming Europe with a vengeance. Beginning August 1, the Dallas metal heavyweights are launching their first European headline tour in nine years, joined by rising goth rockers The Nocturnal Affair, who step in for the previously announced Liliac.

And let’s be clear, this isn’t some nostalgic cash in. This is the real thing. New fire. New blood. And one of the most unexpected collaborations in metal history to sweeten the deal.

TOUR BEGINS AT WACKEN: WHERE LEGENDS GO TO BLEED

The return kicks off with a sold-out bang at none other than Wacken Open Air in Germany, arguably the Mecca of metal festivals. That’s right. Drowning Pool isn’t just easing back in; they’re kicking the doors off the hinges and diving straight into the mosh pit with fists flying.

From there, the band tears across Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and the Czech Republic, dropping devastation with every power chord.

Expect every era of Drowning Pool on display, from classics like:

SOFI TUKKER x DROWNING POOL: “BODIES” REIMAGINED FOR THE DANCEFLOOR APOCALYPSE

{unknown}}

This is the kind of collab that makes your brain short circuit. SOFI TUKKER, the Grammy nominated electro pop duo known for jungle beats and global grooves, have teamed up with Drowning Pool for a massive reimagining of “Bodies.”

Yes. That “Bodies.”
The one that still gets pits spinning like tornadoes in every gym, bar, and backyard wrestling event across America.

“We haven’t had a dancefloor weapon like this—maybe ever,” SOFI TUKKER said.
“Whether it’s a field of people or a house party, this song unleashes something primal. We’re grateful Drowning Pool let us touch their anthem.”

Guitarist CJ Pierce is just as pumped:

“It’s badass. I’m all about those buildups and the sick breakdowns. Can’t wait to experience it live at one of their shows.”

The collab is out now via Craft Recordings, and it’s a wild, genre blending beast. Think Nine Inch Nails meets Miami warehouse rave. Somehow, it works too well.

OFFSET & J.I.D REMIX “BODIES” FOR THE RAP GAME

{unknown}}

As if the SOFI TUKKER collab wasn’t enough, Offset and J.I.D recently dropped their own reimagined version of “Bodies,” fusing Atlanta trap with industrial metal like it’s 2003 all over again, but smarter, sleeker, and dangerously current. If you’re into boundary breaking remixes, you need to check out the official video.

FESTIVALS, FURY & THE UK IN NOVEMBER

Alongside their European club dates, Drowning Pool are also stacking major festival appearances including:

And if you’re across the channel, don’t sweat, a full UK and Ireland tour with Spineshank and (hed) P.E. hits in November.

THE MADNESS CONTINUES

This year’s single “MADNESS” (released via SBG Records) reminded everyone that Drowning Pool isn’t resting on past glory. The riffs still bite. The hooks still sting. And the energy? It’s only gotten darker, sharper, and more refined.

You can bet this tour is just the beginning. New music. More shows. Possibly more collabs that make you go “Wait, what?”
