Just as the air grows colder and shadows stretch a little longer, Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin is returning to North America to shake the veil between worlds once more. The legendary horror soundtrack collective has announced a sprawling set of fall dates, split between a Canadian tour featuring a live score performance of Suspiria and a U.S. run celebrating the 50th anniversary of Deep Red / Profondo Rosso.
These performances will be more than just music, they’re immersive experiences where film and sound collide. Expect live, in the flesh renditions of the scores played alongside screenings of Dario Argento’s masterpieces, all delivered with the intensity and showmanship fans have come to worship from Simonetti and his Goblin cohorts.
Canada Gets Suspiria
From October 8–15, Goblin will wind their way across western Canada, performing their legendary Suspiria score live during screenings of the 1977 Argento classic. It’s the ultimate haunted season double feature: iconic visuals laced with that shrieking, synth drenched soundscape that made Suspiria an eternal cult hit. If you haven’t seen it yet or it’s your 500th time, this will be a show to remember for years to come.
U.S. Tour Celebrates 50 Years of Deep Red
Starting October 24 in New York, the U.S. leg of the tour honors the 50th anniversary of Deep Red / Profondo Rosso, another masterstroke of horror scored by Simonetti. The band will perform live during screenings of the film in cities across the country before ending in truly cinematic fashion on November 8 in Los Angeles, CA. Similarly, whether this is new or old, this experience will be impactful and soul wrenching.
Special Full Length Concerts at Future Ruins & Saturday Nightmares
Two shows will break from the film screening format and feature exclusive, full Goblin concerts. First up: Saturday Nightmares Horror Con in East Rutherford, NJ, (October 25), and the tour finale at Future Ruins Fest in Los Angeles (November 8).
Future Ruins, curated by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, is a new kind of festival, one where the titans of screen composition step into the spotlight. Simonetti’s Goblin joins a lineup that includes Danny Elfman, John Carpenter, and Cristobal Tapia de Veer, making it a must-attend event for fans of cinematic music and sonic storytelling.
A Horror Legacy Like No Other
Claudio Simonetti has defined what fear sounds like for over five decades. With unforgettable scores for Dawn of the Dead, Tenebre, Demons, and of course Suspiria and Deep Red, his influence still bleeds through horror film and music today. This tour is a celebration and, even more than that, a resurrection and a safe space for horror nerds all over.
