Colorado’s own 3OH!3 are turning up the heat, and cooling it right back down, with their latest single “SLUSHIE” and its brand new music video. The video takes sun drenched nostalgia and mixes in some pure chaos, bringing you right back to the magic of summer days when plans didn’t matter and the only destination was the corner store.
“The video for ‘SLUSHIE’ is our love letter to those days when you and your crew just roam around without a plan,” the band shares. “Nat is wearing a turkey suit. That’s the kind of day it was.”
Directed by Cole Santiago and shot on an old cassette camera, the clip radiates carefree energy. In true 3OH!3 fashion, even an accident turned into art, when the band left the camera in a parking lot, it was “borrowed” by someone who filmed their own footage, which ended up making the final cut.
The release comes just as the band gears up for a full U.S. run on “The Bigger Than You Think Tour” with Simple Plan, Bowling For Soup, and LØLØ. The trek kicks off August 9 in Seattle and will hit major cities including Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, and Atlanta before wrapping this fall.
For nearly 20 years, Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte have blurred genre lines, blending hip hop swagger, tongue in cheek humor, and arena sized hooks. From early Warped Tour days to chart topping anthems like “DONTTRUSTME,” “STARSTRUKK,” and “My First Kiss,” the Boulder, CO, duo has built a legacy of wild live shows, singalong choruses, and unshakable cultural moments.
They’ve brought their high energy performances to Coachella, Reading & Leeds, and countless other festivals, while inspiring a new wave of fans at events like Emo Nite. “SLUSHIE,” their first new music since 2021, keeps that momentum going, with a woozy, colorful love song with glitched out beats, wobbly synths, and just the perfect amount of irreverence we all know and love.
