The Acacia Strain drops new single “Holy Moonlight” & announces album ‘You Are Safe From God Here’

The Acacia Strain is back with another crushing new track, this time unveiling the video for their latest single, “Holy Moonlight.” and they aren’t backing down from their heavy roots whatsoever in the best way possible.

The single arrives ahead of their forthcoming record, You Are Safe From God Here, due out October 24 via Rise Records. Pre-orders are available now and the album is also available for pre-save on Spotify here.

“Another song?! Already?! It’s like we are putting out a record soon or something! (youaresafefromgodhereoctobertwentyfourth),” the band teased, hinting at the storm of heaviness still to come.

The upcoming album promises to dive even further into the murky depths of sludge, doom, and death metal, all while retaining the band’s signature hardcore aggression. Frontman Vincent Bennett once again leads the charge with venomous lyricism exploring themes of misanthropy, nihilism, and existential dread. Expect breakdowns that rattle your bones, riffs that feel like tectonic shifts, and the suffocating weight fans have come to love from The Acacia Strain.

You Are Safe From God Here follows the band’s ambitious 2023 double release (Step Into the Light and Failure Will Follow), which showcased both their punishing hardcore roots and their more expansive, sludgier side. The new LP looks to fuse those extremes into one devastating statement and we couldn’t be more excited!
