A lateral is a phonetic adjective that is produced with the passage of breath around the side of a constriction formed with the tongue. 10,000 days is thought to refer to the orbital period of the planet Saturn. According to Merriam, an inoculum is the material used to introduce something into a suitable environment for growth.
Five albums – Undertow (1993), Ænima (1996), Lateralus (2001), 10,000 Days (2006), and Fear Inoculum (2019) – all of which are impossible to understand or explain what they actually mean.

Following their critically acclaimed 2019 album, Fear Inoculum, the band has made it clear they’re not done yet.
This December, TOOL is planning to snatch their first Hawaiian concerts since 2011 at Honolulu’s Blaisdell Arena. These come on the heels of their return to Japan, which began in 2013, at the K-Arena Yokohama and Glion Arena Kobe. An exclusive pre-sale was available to the TOOL Army, and purchasers of the first Hawaiian show received early access to the second show on December 20. Limited VIP upgrade packages are available for both Hawaiian shows. The general on-sale was scheduled for August 15.
