Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Foreigner will mark their 50th anniversary in monumental fashion: an intimate, once in a lifetime performance on Ellis Island, NY on September 6, 2025. With just 250 fans in attendance, the concert will also be filmed for a major documentary set for release in 2026 by Vertigo Live Productions.
Known worldwide for era defining hits like “Hot Blooded,” “Cold As Ice,” “Juke Box Hero,” and one of the ballads that gets everyone singing along, “I Want To Know What Love Is,” Foreigner has sold over 80 million albums across five decades. For this landmark show, fans can expect those classics brought to life against the cinematic backdrop of the Statue of Liberty. The night will feature appearances from original frontman Lou Gramm and additional surprise guests.
Ellis Island, often called the gateway to the American Dream, provides a strikingly fitting stage for this golden anniversary. With the Manhattan skyline and Statue of Liberty on full display, the setting will match the scale of Foreigner’s legacy while offering fans the chance to become part of history themselves by allowing attendees to also appear in the final documentary. Phones will be sealed, and audience waivers are required, making the crowd’s role part of the official narrative. A limited number of Premium and Live Concert Experience tickets are available here. Fans can also enter a free ticket giveaway for ten pairs via the band’s Instagram and Facebook.
Formed in 1976, Foreigner has defined generations of rock radio with 10 multi platinum albums, 16 Top 30 hits, and enduring dominance on streaming platforms, still generating over 15 million streams per week. Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the band continues to play sold out shows worldwide, proving their sound is as vital now as it was nearly half a century ago.
