They are bringing back the pop punk/easycore to start in Kansas and spread worldwide. Get ready to feel the nostalgia punch of the genre we’ve been waiting to hear again for sometime.
Back in 2015, Joseph Meador formed this project, but what began as a solo endeavor is now a very energetic band. After years of fighting and working hard on music, by March 2025, the band had signed a contract with Punkerton Records. The band has also announced that, later this year, their album Red Flag will be released.
Being a girl from Kansas and chasing my own dreams, it’s inspiring to see passionate people finally get the recognition they deserve. I have had the honor to see Stay the Course live—and let me tell you, they are nothing but energy. From the moment they hit that stage, they keep the crowd engaged, getting the audience pumped, and always interacting. If you haven’t seen them, and you’re in the Wichita, KS, area, make sure you do.
