On September 12, 2025, The Plot In You released a somber single “Silence” which expresses loneliness as well as isolation. The lyricism in this single, combined with the mixture of vocals that carry vulnerability, allows the listener to experience different soundscapes throughout the song. “Silence” starts with Landon (Vocals) almost whispering, and as the song progresses, the vocals become more explosive and intense which can indicate a transformation. The official music video for “Silence” can be interpreted in many ways from viewers, depending on how they take in the lyrics as well. The way I interpreted the video was that the dancer was experiencing something holding her back, like suppressed sadness, and as the song continues, her movements become more erratic and faster. “Silence” is a single that has an eerie, cinematic tone to it, but is also theatrical — something music lovers, as well as those who perform dance arts, can relate to.
