A new wave of live music is headed to South Florida next year as the Wahoo Music Festival makes its debut at Abacoa Amphitheater on February 28, 2026.
Founded by Sheesh Management’s Perry Avgerinos and Noah Schwartz, Wahoo promises to deliver more than just a day of performances; it’s a celebration of community and purpose.
The festival was born out of Schwartz’s own story: a cancer survivor whose experience shaped Wahoo’s mission.
“Wahoo is more than just a festival – it’s about connection, discovery, and giving back,” Schwartz said. “We want to create an event that artists are excited to play and fans are excited to return to year after year.”
From its inception, Wahoo was designed to merge live entertainment with a greater purpose, channeling a portion of net proceeds and attention toward cancer research. The founders envision it becoming an annual event that strengthens Palm Beach County’s music scene, while spotlighting new artists.
“Through our experience managing touring musicians, we’ve seen firsthand how challenging and costly it can be for artists to engage with their fans in Florida,” Avgerinos explained. “Wahoo aims to give artists an opportunity to reach more of their Florida-based fans.”
Set in the heart of Jupiter, the 3,000-capacity Abacoa Amphitheater will host an eclectic mix of country, folk, and soul-driven acts. The inaugural lineup includes St. Paul & The Broken Bones and Josh Meloy as headliners, joined by Zinadelphia, Nick Folwarczny, Brady Brazeal, and local favorite Andrew Martinez.
The team’s deep ties to artist management and touring logistics give them a unique edge. Their goal is to build Wahoo from the ground up as a trusted source for exceptional live music, with a growing Florida-rooted experience built around it.
Wahoo Music Festival arrives at a pivotal time for South Florida’s live-music scene, offering a fresh platform for both emerging talent and local businesses. With plans for ongoing community partnerships and cancer research initiatives, the festival’s debut could mark the start of a new cultural anchor for South Florida.
