On December 10, 2025, I drove three hours to The Ritz in Raleigh, NC, and if that doesn’t show the dedication to photograph one of my favorite bands, then I don’t know what does. Fame on Fire has always been one of those bands that, no matter what tour they are on, put on the best performance of the night.

To be honest, I came for Fame on Fire because the band, from start to finish, had such intense energy that it would leave you feeling like your flesh was peeled right off—in a good way. Sadly, Blake Saul (guitar) is no longer part of the band, but we will continue to support his personal endeavors. Before the band went on stage, you could see the eager fans at the barricade looking like they were about to burst with anticipation. I’ve seen this band, I believe, five times in the last two years of photography, and their set has never disappointed me at all. Fame on Fire performed most songs from their The Death Card album, as well as “Welcome to the Chaos.”

Bryan (vocals) is one of those vocalists who can easily transition from heavier to soft vocals effortlessly, and with the instrumentation enhancing that soundscape, it will only leave you speechless. Listening to the crowd sing along to every chorus for each song, almost overpowering the vocalist, felt so euphoric and overwhelming in the best way. I loved seeing Niko (guitar) on this tour with the band because he is one of the most talented individuals I’ve met in a long time. The band made a good decision when it came to choosing him to fill in! Niko is young and filled with life, which is the perfect combination for this tour. Paul (bassist) is one of the most genuine individuals out there, and seeing him smiling on stage and interacting with the fans at the barricade only fills your heart with happiness. Sadly, Alex (drums) was so high on the platform behind them that I couldn’t get clear shots of him, but you could feel the emotionally charged rhythm throughout the whole set. Each musician in the band brought the energy even though it was the last day of the tour, and we all know they were exhausted, but the fierce attitude they had to put on the best performance possible is the reason why they are my favorite band. Exhaustion didn’t stop them!

This band started covering songs in their earlier years, and now they are creating albums that encapsulate who they are as artists. Between Welcome to the Chaos and The Death Card, the band not only created albums that fans can resonate with, but they also showcase resilience, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to their fans.
