Aerosmith, Yungblud, and Lainey Wilson release new “Wild Woman” version

Aerosmith and Yungblud One More TIme

Aerosmith, Yungblud, and Lainey Wilson just dropped “Wild Woman (Lainey Wilson Version),” a fresh take on the track from the new EP One More Time, out now via Capitol Records. The song keeps the bluesy rock feel of the original, but Lainey’s strong, country-leaning vocals give it a whole new energy.

Yungblud says, “I’m really hyped to have Lainey Wilson jump on this record. I’ve been a fan for a while, and her story is inspiring. We needed a real wild woman—and we got one.”

You can listen to the new version and watch the visual now. One More Time is also available digitally and on limited vinyl, CD, and cassette.

The release comes after the EP’s big chart debut, landing in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 and hitting No. 1 on several rock and indie charts. It also marked Aerosmith’s first-ever No. 1 album in the U.K. and Yungblud’s second U.K. No. 1 this year.

This new version of “Wild Woman” came together after Steven Tyler and Lainey Wilson performed “Dream On” together at Tyler’s Jam for Janie benefit in February 2025. Tyler and Yungblud later invited Wilson to join the track, with Joe Perry returning to record new guitar parts.

It’s been a huge year for Lainey Wilson as she hosted the 2025 CMA Awards, took home three trophies, including Entertainer of the Year, and earned three GRAMMY nominations. Her current single, “Somewhere Over Laredo,” is No. 1 at country radio and climbing the Billboard Hot 100.

One More Time is Aerosmith’s first new music in over a decade. Produced by Matt Schwartz, the five-song set brings together two generations of rock, with Tyler and Yungblud sharing vocals across the project and Joe Perry’s guitar leading the sound.

The EP features the original “Wild Woman,” the lead single “My Only Angel,” a stripped-back “Desert Road Version” featuring Steve Martin on banjo, plus “Problems,” “A Thousand Days,” and a new 2025 remix of the classic “Back in the Saddle.”
