On December 9, 2025, DEVO announced their “Mutate, Don’t Stagnate” 2026 immersive tour! I’ve been listening to DEVO since the early 2000’s, and when I saw this tour announced, I internally screamed because they are not coming near me at all. I remember making videos for YouTube when I was like 13 with a bunch of friends to “Whip It,” and that’s one of the core memories that I will never forget. DEVO showcases that it’s okay to be different and to create music that’s not “normal,” but fun, and makes their audience smile and laugh
