Long Island progressive rock quartet Dhärä returns with their new single “A PLACE IN TIME (the entities, divided),” offering the first full glimpse into their upcoming album Elemental Four, due January 11, 2026.
The track serves as the opening movement of Elemental Four, a fully realized concept album that blends instrumental progressive rock with cinematic ambition. Patient and atmospheric at its outset, “A PLACE IN TIME, (the entities, divided)” gradually expands into driving rhythms, layered guitar interplay, and a sense of scale that feels deliberate and sumptuous, setting the tone for what the band describes as a narrative journey rather than a collection of standalone tracks.
According to the band, Elemental Four tells the story of four entities whose world is destabilized by a catastrophic meteor strike. Separated by a massive earthquake, they must reunite and summon “The Conduit” in hopes of preventing total collapse. The album is paired with a full concert film experience featuring modern lyrical dance performed by five ballerinas, reinforcing Dhärä’s commitment to visual storytelling alongside their music.
Since forming in 2015, Dhärä has steadily built a reputation for immersive, instrumental compositions that blur the lines between progressive rock, post metal, and cinematic score work. Operating with a strong DIY ethos, the band has handled recording, production, visuals, and even custom light shows in-house, an approach that continues to shape their identity and output.
