Australian grindcore wrecking crew King Parrot will return to U.S. stages in Spring 2026, joining Gwar on their Gor-Gor Strikes Back tour, with additional support from Soulfly.

The tour kicks off March 19 in Richmond, Virginia, and runs through April 29 in Charlotte, North Carolina, marking King Parrot’s first U.S. run since their appearance on The Heaviest Tour Of The Summer alongside Pantera and Amon Amarth. The 2026 dates continue the band’s momentum following extensive touring in support of their latest full-length release, A Young Person’s Guide To King Parrot.

King Parrot is currently touring behind A Young Person’s Guide To King Parrot, their first full-length album in five years, released earlier this year via Housecore Records in North America. The album delivers ten relentless tracks recorded at Dangertone Studios in Melbourne with engineer Luke Walton, marking the band’s most aggressive and focused material to date.

Vocalist Matt Young shared his excitement about the upcoming run, noting that the opportunity to return to the U.S. with Gwar and Soulfly was one the band couldn’t pass up, calling it an ideal lineup for fans of extreme music and a strong way to continue supporting the new record.
