RED VOX announces new album ‘Retcon’

RED VOX

New York-based indie rockers RED VOX are gearing up for 2026 with the announcement of their sixth studio album, Retcon, set to release on January 30. After their previous album, Visions and Afterthoughts (2023), was one of their most successful to date, fans are all the more excited to see what the members have in store. The new single “Over a Life,” dropped recently on December 16, promises more of the grungy, psychedelic-tinged sound the band has become known for over the past decade of their career. The varied sounds and styles of Retcon all serve to explore the band’s relationship to the past: accepting what they cannot change, and discovering a new version of themselves to create.

The band has also created a new, immersive way to experience their music: The New Flesh, a unique hybrid of a video game and music video, in which players explore a strange world and discover over fifteen RED VOX songs, including three from the new album and a special game-exclusive track.

Presave Retcon here, play The New Flesh here, and stay tuned for all of RED VOX’s plans for the new year.
