Modest Mouse’s inaugural four-day cruise, entitled “Ice Cream Floats,” sets sail in less than one month, and the band has announced they’ll be playing two special sets on board: ‘The Moon & Antarctica in full, in celebration of the album’s 25-year anniversary, and a special audience request set.
The first-ever “Ice Cream Floats” cruise takes place February 5-9, 2026, and sails from Miami, Florida, to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, bringing the Ice Cream Party to sea for the first time. With no shortage of sea-inspired songs, it’s only fitting that fans will get to hear anthems like “Float On,” “March Into The Sea,” “Missed The Boat,” and “Ocean Breathes Salty” on a boat.
Modest Mouse are also bringing along a stellar lineup of fellow indie rock and punk artists, Portugal. The Man, Kurt Vile and The Violators, Mannequin Pussy, FIDLAR, Built To Spill, Tropical Fuck Storm, and The Black Heart Procession, as well as stand-up comedian David Cross and tattoo artist Chris Cook.
Ugly Casanova, the dormant side project of Modest Mouse vocalist Isaac Brock, will also make a reemergence on the Ice Cream Floats ship for their first live performance in over 20 years.

On top of intimate live performances, Modest Mouse Presents Ice Cream Floats will also offer curated activities, story time with Isaac Brock, an “Ask Modest Mouse Anything” live Q&A, and DJ sets from Modest Mouse and friends each night.
Limited cabins are still available at modestmousecruise.com. With three nights of Modest Mouse and Ugly Casanova performances and an amazing support line-up, one thing’s for sure: you don’t want to miss this boat.
