Brandy and Monica recently finished “The Boy Is Mine Tour.” This was their first tour together, almost thirty years after their GRAMMY-winning song was released. When they performed live, fans were ecstatic. Additionally, the tour sold out and turned into one of the most important R&B moments of the year.
On tour, there were guest performers from different generations of R&B music. These guests included Kelly Rowland, Coco Jones, Muni Long, and the latest winner of American Idol, Jamal Roberts. On some of the tour dates, Mýa and Keyshia Cole performed. Plus, artists such as Missy Elliott, Ciara, Sexyy Red, LL COOL J, Kehlani, Max B, and 50 Cent were among the unexpected guests. Having all those surprise guests really made each show stand out.
When the tour ended, it was announced that Brandy and Monica would be performing on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper & Andy Cohen. This aired on December 31.
