Fire in the Mountains is an immersive, open-air music and cultural gathering that places heavy music in direct conversation with land, place, and Indigenous culture. Held near Glacier National Park in an area the Blackfeet call “The Backbone of the World,” the festival is the only alcohol-free heavy music festival in North America.
Beyond music, FITM is dedicated to addressing suicide prevention in Indian Country, particularly within the Blackfeet Nation. Through partnerships, education, and community-driven initiatives, the festival works to raise awareness while actively supporting prevention efforts.
By combining music, art, and education in a remote wilderness setting, Fire in the Mountains has earned international recognition for its focused mission and distinct approach, offering an experience that extends well beyond a traditional festival weekend.
Tickets for Fire in the Mountains 2026 are on sale now.
