MIKA has a message for you: “In celebration of the release of ‘Hyperlove,’ I’ll be visiting some record stores around the U.K., where I will be performing a few songs and talking you through my recording and writing process. This is something I have never done before, and I am so excited to do it in the place where it all started for me.” 

MIKA is an artist who has been making his mark on the pop music scene for years. Franco-Lebanese and raised in London, MIKA is a jack of all trades. He is back with a new album, Hyperlove, which will be released on January 23.

The album will feature 15 new songs, all in English. The atmosphere is very danceable, very electronic. 

With Hyperlove, MIKA returns to the piano as his primary source of creative inspiration. He seeks to reinvent and says he wants to fuse the warmth of analog imperfections with the immaculate rhythm of electronic pop.

Entirely composed on the piano and produced using analog and vintage equipment, this album presents a living landscape, full of vulnerability, courage, nostalgia, and euphoria.

MIKA‘s new album, Hyperlove, marks his first English-language studio release since 2019 and finds him returning to the piano as the core of his songwriting while exploring the tension between human emotion and technology.

Hyperlove introduces a new era for MIKA, one fueled by curiosity, craftsmanship, and a belief in the possibility of music to connect and transcend: a new version of being a man, a man who grows up but also grows old.

To introduce this new album, he has just announced a series of intimate concerts, promising an intimate and powerful experience.
