Alt rock artist TX2 has released a new single titled “Murder Scene,” featuring Magnolia Park. The track serves as the latest preview from TX2’s upcoming debut album End Of Us, set for release on February 13 via Hopeless Records.
The collaboration marks a full circle moment for the artists, following TX2’s previous guest appearance on a Magnolia Park release. According to TX2, the feature felt natural given their long-standing friendship and shared place within the current wave of emo and alternative music.
“Murder Scene” leans into gothic horror imagery to explore emotional betrayal and mental health collapse. Set against the backdrop of a haunted motel filled with ghosts and shadows, the track reframes fear of abandonment as a theatrical descent, channeling paranoia, isolation, and the weight of hitting a breaking point alone.
The single continues the narrative arc introduced on the album’s title track, “The End of Us” featuring Black Veil Brides, which arrived in December alongside the album announcement.
TX2 also recently released an animated music video for the track “The Rain” while supporting Ice Nine Kills on their U.K. and European arena tour. Inspired by PS2-era survival horror games such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill, the video bridges the visual storyline between TX2’s earlier releases.
With over one million monthly listeners on Spotify and a rapidly growing audience on TikTok, TX2 has built a dedicated following through constant touring and the X Movement, a Discord-based mental health community. End Of Us features guest appearances from Magnolia Park, Black Veil Brides, DeathbyRomy, Ekoh, and Ice Nine Kills vocalist Spencer Charnas.
Following the album’s release, TX2 will embark on a U.S. headline tour in February before heading to Australia with Rain City Drive in March. The year will also include appearances at major European festivals such as Download Festival, Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Rock For People, Nova Rock, Graspop, Jera On Air, and Vainstream.
