The unbelievably talented singer-songwriter and producer Erin Lecount started the new year off with a bang by releasing her new single, “I BELIEVE,” which is out now via Atlantic Records. This release follows that of her last singles, “808 HYMN and “MACHINE GHOST,” and she is quickly commanding her place as one of the most new, unique, and exciting voices in alternative pop. 

Self-produced, Erin Lecount continues to define her creative vision and sound with “I BELIEVE.” The track features exciting synth-driven production, with her stunningly haunting vocals and complex lyricism. Erin Lecount’s voice reminds me of Florence Welch’s while maintaining an original sound that toes the line of art-pop and baroque-pop. The 2026 single has been teased across social media and was debuted live on the first leg of her sold-out “La Lune Tour” late last year.  “I BELIEVE” serves as an emotionally charged meditation, exhibiting sounds of grandeur and wonder. 

About “I BELIEVE” Erin LeCount said, “‘I BELIEVE’ is a cynical, existential song about apathy, passiveness in your own life, disillusionment with the state of the world, what it feels like to turning to every possible external source to tell you how to feel and exist – religion, self help books, magazines, astrology, lovers, antidepressants. I wrote it about a pursuit of perfection, faith, and meaning soundtracked to relentless synth pop production.”

Now out is also the video of Erin Lecount playing “I BELIEVE” live at her sold-out headline show at London’s KOKO. The video was shot and edited by longtime collaborators Sam-Taylor Edwards and Kit Dale, who also worked on the music videos for “808 HYMN” and “MACHINE GHOST.”

In December 2025, Erin embarked on her amazing U.K. and Ireland “La Lune Tour,” which saw her play to sold-out crowds in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, and London. The “La Lune Tour” will be brought to North America in February 2026, where she will play major cities, including Chicago, Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles.
