Treefort announces final wave of 2026 line-up; adds Built To Spill and more

Treefort Music Fest, one of the nation’s largest independent music festivals, dropped their third and final line-up announcement. If the first two line-up announcements hadn’t already sold me on attending Treefort, this week’s announcement certainly would have sealed the deal. The 14th iteration of Treefort Music Fest sees the addition of over 222 artists from 17 different US states and 4 countries, bringing a total of over 500 artists from all different genres and across the globe to downtown Boise, Idaho, the weekend of March 25-29, 2026.

After much anticipation, hometown legends Built To Spill were finally added to the bill. It wouldn’t be Treefort without the beloved Boise indie-rockers, after all, considering the band has played nearly every Treefort since its inception in 2012.

From elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest, Treefort brings Portland’s garage-rock icon and Dead Moon vet Toody Cole & Her Band with their American DIY rock & roll spirit, as well as up-and-coming Zookraught, Seattle’s dance punk darlings that have amassed an almost cult-like following with their high-energy and eclectic live performances.

Traveling from across the pond, Treefort will also see the Indonesian alt-pop band Elephant Kind, now based in London, bring their “genre-defying exploration of transformation, longing, and the relentless pursuit of purpose in an ever-accelerating world”.

Other artists announced for the final wave of Treefort include Brooklyn heavygaze band MX Lonely, 2000s emo pop-punkers The Dangerous Summer playing an acoustic set, Latin-infused darkwave from Seattle Dark Chisme, Denver blues-rockers Andy Frasco & The U.N., and the soul-infused hip-hop collective from Dallas Cure For Paranoia.
