After almost two years without a headline tour, The Maine is back with new music and renewed energy. John O’Callaghan, Kennedy Brock, Garrett Nickelsen, Jared Monaco, and Pat Kirch have released “Die To Fall,” the first single from their tenth studio album, Joy Next Door, which arrives on April 10.
O’Callaghan says making this album was one of the toughest the band has faced. This release marks a shift toward a more deliberate, structured way of songwriting. The record was written and recorded in sequence to better tell its story, and like past albums, it has a signature color: green. “Every album of ours has a color that represents it, and Joy Next Door is the green era. The green grass on the album art feels like it matches perfectly with the organic instrumentation and imperfections left intact on the album,” explains Pat Kirch.
The band kicks off their tour, “I Love You But I Chose The Maine,” on March 24, 2026, at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas. The 26-date run takes them across the country, including stops in Phoenix, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Boston, and more, making it the biggest headlining tour of their career so far.
