Ty Dolla $ign brings GRAMMY week full circle at the EZMNY JammJam

Ty Dolla $ign closed out GRAMMY Week with community and musicianship at The EZMNY JammJam, a special late-night, one-night-only performance experience presented by Amazon Music and Jammcard. Livestreamed globally on Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Twitch, the event transformed an intimate jam session into a shared moment for fans worldwide.

Held in Los Angeles on January 29, the EZMNY JammJam brought together artists across generations of hip hop, R&B, funk, and pop. Rather than functioning as a traditional showcase, the night leaned into live collaboration, fluid transitions, and the kind of organic chemistry that only happens when musicians are given space to listen and respond to one another in real time.

Terrace Martin opened the evening with a dynamic set that established the night’s musical foundation before the program shifted into the Ty Dolla $ign & Friends portion of the event, introduced by Leon Thomas. Backed by a full live band, including his father, Tyrone Griffin Sr., on trumpet, Ty Dolla $ign led an expansive, collaborative jam rooted in feel, groove, and shared history.

The performance doubled as a celebration of recent GRAMMY nominations earned by Ty Dolla $ign, his label EZMNY Records, and EZMNY artists Leon Thomas and Bizzy Crook. Rather than centering accolades, the night focused on the relationships and musicianship that made those moments possible in the first place.

Throughout the evening, Ty was joined onstage by EZMNY standouts, including Leon Thomas, Bizzy Crook, and RJTheWeirdo, alongside additional appearances from JayDon and AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys. The rotating cast reinforced the community-driven spirit at the heart of the JammJam, where the line between headliner and collaborator remained intentionally fluid.

The full guest lineup reflected the scope of the night, featuring performances from Alicia Creti, AJ McLean, Bizzy Crook, The Black Eyed Peas, Blu DeTiger, D Smoke, Elmo Lovano, IDK, Joe Moses, JoJo, Jordan Adetunji, Joyce Wrice, Lakeside, Lalah Hathaway, Marques Houston, Ne-Yo, Oranj, Rapsody, RJTheWeirdo, Terrace Martin, Ty Dolla $ign, Tyrone Griffin Sr., T.I., and Wale.

“EZMNY was built around real musicianship, real relationships, and celebrating artists who put the music first,” Ty Dolla $ign shared. “To be able to celebrate GRAMMY nominations across our label alongside my dad, my family, and so many collaborators onstage made this JammJam especially meaningful.”

Elmo Lovano, co-founder of Jammcard, echoed that sentiment, emphasizing the importance of creating space for authentic collaboration. The JammJam format, built around rotation, spontaneity, and shared musicianship, allowed artists to connect without the pressure of perfection or rigid structure.

As both a GRAMMY Week celebration and a statement of intent, the EZMNY JammJam highlighted what can happen when live music is treated as conversation rather than performance. It was not about spectacle or singles, but about trust, listening, and the collective energy that emerges when artists meet on equal ground.
