A night of healing with Jessie J in Chicago

Jessie J

Jessie J‘s “No-Secret Tour” stopped last Friday, January 30, for a sold-out show at the House of Blues in Chicago. The evening was filled with healing and radiant energy, making it a truly perfect performance for these times in our country.

Jessie performed an acoustic set. She started the show from the balcony with “Feel It on Me” and then made her way down to the stage. Her powerhouse vocals captivated the audience from the moment she appeared on that balcony and for the rest of the night.

Once she finished her first song, she started chatting with the audience, and she did so frequently throughout her set. This made her very personable and welcoming. I could feel her warmth throughout the venue, and it was very comforting. She’s also quite the comedian, and her humor came through throughout the night. She continued the night with “Do It Like A Dude” and “No Secrets.”

Throughout the night, she performed songs from her newest album, Don’t Tease Me With A Good Time, such as “H.A.P.P.Y,” “Living My Best Life,” and “If I Save You.” Of course, it wouldn’t be a Jessie J show if she didn’t do some of her throwback songs, such as “Domino,” “Masterpiece,” “Queen,” and, of course, a fan favorite, “Price Tag.”

Jessie J is exactly what we need in today’s world. Her shows are so healing and give such comfort.
