After several years playing bass and co-composing for the French electropop band Hyphen Hyphen, Kid Sophie started her own solo project last year with her first single, “Closer to You.” She is back this year with a new track, “Love Again,” released last week on streaming platforms under her own label Kid Sophie Club.
Kid Sophie’s sound is rooted in alternative pop, with strong electronic and new wave influences. Her project is deeply personal, as she draws inspiration from her own life, memories, childhood, and emotions.
“Love Again” is a perfect example of her musical identity. With its airy production and introspective lyrics, the single explores the feeling of not being ready to love again after being hurt, questioning when, or if, we will ever be ready.

The single anticipates the release of her first EP, which we can expect to be filled with raw, emotional songs that dig deep into her inner world.
