A Sick New World is coming…

As we get closer to April, the hype surrounding Sick New World Festival is getting much higher.

With two days planned this year, April 25 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and October 24 in Fort Worth, Texas, everyone’s anticipation is growing at exponential levels. As of this weekend, they are shifting layaway plans to 50% down for tickets, and a good portion of them are selling out. There is an underlying worry that the festival may hit a snag and be postponed, as it was last year, though most people are hopeful that it won’t happen — me included.

The lineup this year is absolutely stacked and is a major contributing factor to how much excitement there is. Headliners for Las Vegas include names like Korn and Bring Me The Horizon, while Slayer and Deftones are at the front of Fort Worth. System of a Down will be headlining both locations. Other major names include AFI, Underoath, Knocked Loose, Mastodon, and many more.

Are you planning on going? As a Las Vegas local myself, I personally cannot wait to attend this year.
