
Freddie Gibbs, a rapper from Gary, Indiana, has been a staple in the underground rap community for years. With collaborations featuring artists such as Tyler, the Creator, Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher, Danny Brown, Schoolboy Q, and Jay-Z, Gibbs has made a name for himself in the hip-hop community and earned the respect of all true hip-hop fans. Gibbs not only works with the biggest and best rappers out there but also has co-signed from some of the most important producers in hip-hop history with his albums Piñata (produced by Madlib), both Alfredo and Alfredo 2 (produced by The Alchemist), Freddie (Kenny Beats), as well as producers such as Hit-boy, and Mike Will Made-It (various tracks) it’s safe to say that Freddie Gibbs has become a staple for a hip-hop heads.

Gibbs is one of those rappers that you can’t put in one box. From underground coordinator to cultural heavyweight, dark beats to luxury rap, Gibbs can do it all, and with a stage presence that also mimics the gritty street-level intelligence we see in his music, Gibbs has broken down all boxes and radiated through multiple creative outlets. He has done so in a way that keeps the fans guessing what his next step will be, knowing whatever it is will be fantastic.

Gibbs has kept himself very busy recently, fresh off a starring role in the film “Night Patrol,” in addition to releasing a short film for his two projects, Alfredo and Alfredo II, Alfredo the Movie is a ghost noir, yakuza movie where the Alchemist and Freddie navigate a hostile world where they are noodle salesmen by day and criminal masterminds by night, giving us a glimpse of the ethos behind both the Alchemist and Freddie. Not to mention Freddie has also become a GRAMMY-winning artist for his collaboration on Leon Thomas’ album Mutt while still reaping the benefits of his most recent album Alfredo II, an album that became an instant classic, breaking Freddie’s own all-time streaming record easily and quickly. It’s safe to say that Freddie has kept himself very busy over the last 365 days, and what better way to send off this legendary run than by announcing a North American tour.
Freddie’s tour spans the entire United States, starting in Iowa and concluding with three shows in California. During his countrywide journey, he will be accompanied by multiple rappers, including Nourished by Time, Geordie Greep, and 2 Deadboyz, formerly of Flatbush Zombies.
