In about five months, one of Milwaukee’s most exclusive concert festivals will be here. Over the past few months, we’ve been given the amphitheater headliners for each night, but just recently, full lineup for all three weekends was announced. Like last year, it seems that Summerfest has opted for “genre-specific” dates.

As a big fan of the pop-punk and Midwest emo scene, I am ecstatic to see Taylor Acorn, State Champs, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Hot Mulligan coming to perform near me so very soon. But I also cannot forget to shout out the local DIY scene. The lineup features some bands that are especially dear to my heart, including Tiny Voices and Fluorescents, who are making their debut, while Lake Drive will be returning to the stage.

The lineup features a plethora of artists across every genre. For a festival of this size, it’s only expected to cater to a wide range of musical tastes — especially if you’re going to be called the “World’s Largest.” You’ve got to have them all.

There’s Flo Rida, The Mountain Goats, Halestorm, Jelly Roll, Koyo, and so many others. You should definitely check it out! Remember, you can get a nine-day Power Pass for roughly $60. Grab your tickets early — early bird deals offer the best prices, and why wait if you already know you’re going? Otherwise, keep checking for freebie dates and promotions, which come later. You can also try your luck at winning tickets and passes directly from Summerfest. I tried my hand at their scavenger hunt but came up short — that’s okay! It was fun to participate. Tons of people are hoping to snag passes, so plan ahead and stick to your guns.

2026 is shaping up to be a fabulous year for tours and festivals — it feels like almost everyone is dropping posters or little hints right now. February might be cold, but it’ll heat up quickly — just you wait! I know I can’t!
