The Gloom In the Corner drops “You Didn’t Like Me Then (You Won’t Like Me Now)” ahead of album release on Feb 27

The Gloom In The Corners third album, Royal Dissonance, was released on Friday, February 27, and ahead of the full release, they have unveiled another single off the album, “You Didn’t Like Me Then (You Won’t Like Me Now).” The Melbourne-based metalcore band continues to expand upon their cinematic-esque discography with a track that sounds like it could be straight off an anime soundtrack. If you’re looking for fun, high energy, an epic guitar solo, and empowering lyrics to stand up and fight for yourself, look no further, as The Gloom In The Corner has delivered excellently with this release. To top it off, the accompanying music video is silly and unserious, and a great showcase of the different characters in the band’s story universe. If this is your first time experiencing The Gloom In The Corner, it’s a great place to start.

The band also shares on the single: “‘You Didn’t Like Me Then’ is not just about accepting one’s self, but also embracing it, regardless of what other people think. Not everyone is going to like you or accept you, and that’s totally okay — you don’t have to like them either.”
