The National Football League has announced the 32 nominees for the 2025 “NFL International Fan of the Year” program, recognizing passionate supporters around the world who inspire their local communities through their dedication to the sport.
Now in its third year, the program continues to highlight the growing global impact of the NFL. More than 3,500 submissions were received this year, with nominees representing nine countries across the globe. The initiative expanded further in 2025 with the addition of New Zealand to the league’s eligible international markets.
Each of the league’s 32 franchises selected one international fan to represent their team. From Mexico and Germany to Brazil, Australia, and the United Kingdom, the nominees reflect the rapidly expanding reach of American football worldwide.
The ultimate winner will be announced during the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, where the selected fan will be recognized as the “Ultimate NFL International Fan of the Year.”
Last year’s award went to Miami Dolphins fan Lucas Rossetti, who was honored during the 2025 NFL Draft after representing his team as the international nominee.
The NFL continues to expand its international presence through the Global Markets Program, which allows teams to build brand awareness and engage fans outside the United States. All 32 franchises now participate in the initiative across 21 international markets.
