Killswitch Engage is heading back out on the road this summer with a stacked U.S. headline run that brings Machine Head, Iron Reagan, and Havok along for the ride. The tour kicks off on June 3 in Detroit and wraps on June 27 in San Francisco, with festival appearances along the way at Milwaukee Metal Fest and DC Warped Tour weekend.
The newly announced run marks the band’s first U.S. tour since last year’s “Summer of Loud” run and continues the momentum behind their latest album, This Consequence, which is out now via Metal Blade Records. The album helped keep the band planted near the top of modern metal once again, fueled by the success of the single “I Believe,” which reached the Top 5 and peaked at No. 3.
Frontman Jesse Leach shared his excitement about getting back on the road behind the new record, calling the lineup “stacked and powerful” and pointing to the addition of Machine Head, Iron Reagan, and Havok as a major part of what should make the run hit as hard as it does. He also made it pretty clear this tour is meant to dominate, not just politely stop by and say hello.
The tour will hit major markets across the country, including Brooklyn, Boston, Orlando, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. For fans of modern metal, hardcore, thrash, and the heavier side of festival season, this one is built like a sledgehammer.

This Consequence arrives as another strong chapter in the band’s already massive catalog. Between gold and platinum certifications, GRAMMY nominations, and nearly 25 years of shaping what metalcore became, Killswitch Engage is still one of the genre’s defining names. Their influence is all over modern heavy music, and they’ve managed the rare trick of staying relevant without turning soft, stale, or self-important.
From Alive or Just Breathing to The End of Heartache, As Daylight Dies, and beyond, the band has built a legacy that stretches far past nostalgia. They are still moving, still selling tickets, and still sounding like a band with something to prove.
