J Balvin, Amber Mark, Travis Barker, and Steve Vai have teamed up for “Jump,” Coca-Cola’s anthem for the FIFA World Cup 2026. The new release reimagines Van Halen’s classic with a modern, high-energy spin built for the world’s biggest football stage.
The song arrives through Real Thing Records in partnership with Capitol Records, continuing Coca-Cola’s long-running connection to the FIFA World Cup and its history of pairing major global moments with equally big music. This new version of “Jump” pulls from the original’s instantly recognizable synths and explosive spirit, while bringing in a new blend of pop, rock, Latin, and stadium-sized production.
J Balvin and Amber Mark lead the track, while Travis Barker and Steve Vai give it extra muscle and flash. The collaboration feels designed to meet the scale of the tournament, leaning into the emotional peaks and chaos that make the World Cup hit differently than almost any other event on earth.

The official music video, directed through the art and design vision of McFlyy, pushes the concept even further. Instead of a standard performance clip, the video uses animation to reimagine J Balvin, Amber Mark, Steve Vai, and Travis Barker in a vivid, stylized world. It also includes a special animated appearance from football star Lamine Yamal, tying the music directly back into the culture and energy surrounding the tournament.
Coca-Cola has a long history of anthem-driven World Cup campaigns, with previous songs including K’naan’s “Wavin’ Flag,” David Correy’s “The World Is Ours,” Jason Derulo’s “Colors,” and a reworking of Queen’s “A Kind of Magic.” “Jump” steps into that tradition with a more genre-blending approach, using a familiar rock classic as the foundation for something built to feel contemporary and globally accessible.
J Balvin said the song reflects the shared energy that music and football both create, while Amber Mark described the track as a chance to respect a cross-generational anthem while giving it a fresh perspective. That’s really the trick here. This thing could have easily turned into a corporate nostalgia recycle bin, but the lineup is weird enough and strong enough to give it some real life.
